1. Introduction

At LightBlack, we embrace Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies as tools that enhance productivity, innovation, efficiency, and service quality.

We are committed to using AI responsibly, ethically, and transparently while ensuring the protection of client data, intellectual property, and business interests.

This policy outlines how AI technologies may be used within our organization and the principles that guide their responsible use.

2. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to:

  • Promote the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence.

All AI-generated outputs must be reviewed, validated, and approved by qualified team members before being delivered to clients or used in business-critical decisions.

Human oversight remains mandatory for:
  • Client deliverables.
  • Strategic recommendations.
  • Technical implementations.
  • Marketing campaigns.
  • Business communications.

LightBlack remains fully responsible for all work provided to clients, regardless of whether AI-assisted tools were used during its creation.

Protecting client information is a fundamental priority.

LightBlack will:
  • Avoid sharing confidential client information with public AI systems unless appropriate safeguards are in place.
  • Follow applicable data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR where relevant.
  • Limit access to sensitive information on a need-to-know basis.
  • Take reasonable measures to protect data processed through AI-enabled systems.

Employees and contractors must never intentionally upload confidential information to AI platforms that are not approved for business use.

7. Accuracy & Quality Assurance

AI systems may generate inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading information.

For this reason:

  • AI-generated content must be verified before use.
  • Important factual, legal, financial, or technical information must be independently reviewed.
  • Quality assurance procedures must be followed before delivery to clients.

8. Ethical Use

LightBlack is committed to using AI in an ethical and responsible manner.

We will not knowingly use AI technologies to:

  • Produce deceptive or misleading content.
  • Violate intellectual property rights.
  • Discriminate against individuals or groups.
  • Spread misinformation.
  • Engage in unlawful, harmful, or unethical activities.

9. Transparency

Where appropriate, LightBlack may disclose that AI-assisted tools were used during the creation of certain deliverables, processes, or services.

Transparency helps maintain trust with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

10. Continuous Improvement

As AI technologies evolve rapidly, LightBlack will regularly review and update this policy to reflect industry best practices, legal requirements, and technological developments.

11. Responsibility

Everyone working with or on behalf of LightBlack shares responsibility for ensuring AI is used responsibly, securely, and ethically.

Failure to comply with this policy may result in corrective action, including disciplinary measures or termination of business relationships where appropriate.
