Lightblack is an established web technologies firm with prestige clientele. For more than 15 years, we are delivering high quality websites, e-commerce solutions and custom web applications to meet any business need. We are expanding and looking for a web developer to join our growing team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

With limited supervision, develop and build web applications/enhancements in a fast-paced environment
Receives business requirements and successfully develop web applications, functions, and processes
Conducts and is accountable for testing during development assignments
Must be detail-oriented and follow-through on issues
Provide support to the company’s customers

Qualifications

University degree in computer science or similar
Very strong knowledge of the PHP and Javascript programming languages
Good knowledge of HTML and CSS
General understanding of web technologies like frameworks and libraries
Good knowledge of relational databases and hands on experience with at least one of MySQL or PostgreSQL
Very good communication skills in both Greek and English verbal and written
Strong problem-solving skills
Be flexible and proficient
Be able to meet deadlines

Will be considered as an advantage

Previous experience in similar position (1-2 year max)
Be familiar with a versioning control system like svn or git
Knowledge of the Symfony PHP framework or similar (Laravel)
Knowledge of NodeJS runtime
Be familiar with Linux operating systems
