Web Developer
Lightblack is a well-established web technologies firm with over 15 years of experience delivering high-quality websites, e-commerce platforms, and custom web applications. With a prestigious client base both locally and internationally, we are expanding our team and looking for a skilled Web Developer to join us.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Independently develop and enhance web applications in a fast-paced environment
- Translate business requirements into functional applications and processes
- Conduct thorough testing and ensure code quality during development
- Demonstrate attention to detail and follow through on tasks and issues
- Provide technical support to clients and internal stakeholders
- Research, evaluate, and apply new technologies and tools to both new and existing projects
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3–5 years of proven experience in a similar web development role (required)
- Strong proficiency in PHP and JavaScript
- Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with modern web frameworks and libraries
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
- Excellent verbal and written communication in both Greek and English
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines
- Flexible, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Preferred Skills (a plus)
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Familiarity with Symfony, Laravel, or similar PHP frameworks
- Knowledge of Node.js and React.js
- Exposure to Linux operating systems
